Yes, it is incredible that Steemit pays rewards to the users. At the moment the payout structure is not 100% fair, but I am sure over time the payouts will catch up and will be spread more evenly over the userbase.

Did you already see project @curie ? they are helping great authors to be found. I am donating part of my earnings to them and to authors whom have not been so successful yet.
