BA Lounge

Some of you guys might have seen that Airberlin the German Carrier went into Bankruptcy. I had extended my Airberlin Platinum Status in June and was ready to enjoy all the Oneworld Emerald Perks but Airberlin quit Oneworld as a partner in October.. I took some chips and had a little cake while waiting for my flight in the lounge.

Luckily I was able to use my Business Class Ticket to enter the Lounge in Heathrow (Terminal 5) and I realized that the business class lounge is not that bad. Of course the First Class Lounge offers better food etc. but for a layover it was absolutely ok

Which Lounge do you use at LHR ???

ABOUT ME: Some insides into my Steemit life

Sort:

Some lounges looks quite boring for the amount you are actually paying and some airline/airports spends millions on there lounges to keep the wealthy folks

Much prefer the first class lounge - better food and much better wine. Have only been in the Concorde lounge once, which was great - much quieter, same drinks and all food made to order

Haven’t done much travelling for a few years so my BA gold card has now turned Bronze, which makes choice of lounge immaterial :-)

Nice to see the pics!

Cheers

Galleries Club lounges are the equivalent of business class lounges, which serve business class passengers on intra-Europe flights, as well as on intercontinental flights on British Airways' Club World product.

There are three of these lounges in Terminal 5 - two in the A Building, and one in the B Satellite Terminal.

If some peace and quiet is what you're looking for, the B Satellite lounge may be your best bet. Please keep in mind, however, that it'll take about 15 minutes to walk back if your flight is departing from the A Building.

The Galleries Club lounges feature all the amenities that you would expect to find in a standard business class lounge, including hot and cold food, self-serve tea and coffee, an open bar, showers, and plenty of different areas for lounging.

thanks. as a emerald I always used the firstclass lounge, but the business class lounge is really great. loved it !

wow, that is a very nice lounge.
Most of us could barely effort to travel economy on budget airline : (
Did you company pay for that? or out of your own pocket?

I personally love and enjoy traveling but so far within and around my country Nigeria. Presently I am on travelling plan to visit all the 36 states in Nigeria and so far I have visited 20 states. Most through flight while others are by road.
In traveling so much to learn, know and enjoy.

Nice one

Looks like a hygienic place to buy !

I love the business class lounge. Always comfortable and nice food :)
