Fish Sarciado
Last week, I fried a kilo of fish for the family and the next day, there were still about 4 fried fishes left on the table. It so happened that I have been craving for sarciadong isda for months but I didn't find any time because frying a kilo of fish really takes time and I don't want to spend much time cooking. I want to make sure I have ample time to bond with my family.
I always anticipate food leftovers everyday. The 2 main reasons are, they don't want to wash the pot where I cooked the dish (haha) and 2, we simply feel tired of eating the same food for more than a day. How happy I was when I saw those leftovers on the table and excitedly cook for my sarciado. It meant a budget saver for me because I don't need to buy ingredients for a new dish for that day.
Preparing this dish is just as easy as 1, 2 ,3.
You will just need this following.
A slice garlic, onion and tomatoes. Fried fishes. I used our leftovers but you can also use the new fried ones, 2 beaten eggs and salt and pepper to taste.
Just saute garlic, onion, and tomatoes, then followed by the fried fishes. I cut my fishes into half. Put 2 cups of water and let it boil. You don't need to boil it longer because the fishes are already cookedk. You just need to let the flavor of the fishes mix with the soup. Then simply pour the beaten eggs, cook for a minute then you're done. You can garnish it with spring onions but I didn't have spring onions in the fridge at that time so I used sliced onions instead.
Craving satisfied! Best served with white steam rice!
