Help Me Find A Good Burger In France (or Spain)! Please God Help!

Not Even The Saddest Burger In Barcelona.....

I spent all of June in Barcelona (and a week and a half travelling around outside of Barcelona in the Priorat wine region and in Martorell just shy of Montserrat).

I couldn't find a single good burger the entire time. By which I mean, the burgers were terrible, if they even came close to looking like a burger.

The 'burger' in the picture above isn't even the worst looking burger I saw in Spain. This one just happened to be in a high class, high dollar restaurant, abandoned by what looked to be a Spanish family. I couldn't help but take a picture (you know how you can't help but slow the car and stare at a car accident? Yeah kind of like that. Oh the horror.....needed to be documented.)

I just got to France today. I'll be in the land of FREEDOM FRIES! for a month or so, hiking the Camino de Piemonte (basically, Narbonne to Carcassonne to almost Toulousse to Pau to St. Jean Pied De Port and then back down into Spain to San Sebastion and Santiago).

So basically my future consists of 4-6 weeks in France, and then another 2-4 weeks in Spain.

I fear there will be NO GOOD HAMBURGERS! And certainly no GREAT hamburgers. Very sad.

HELP! HELP MEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you know of any good restaurants that can actually produce a good (or even better, GREAT) burger in the towns I'll be passing through as I hike along The Way, any burger 'chains' that can create a burger an United Statesean would enjoy?

It might be too much to ask, but I hope there's at least one Steemian who would know!
