Recently I went to Dog Town to get take-out dinner for the family. Dog Town is a relatively new hot-dog joint that opened a little over a year ago. They make gourmet hot-dogs and quick take-out food. This was my third time visiting Dog Town. It's always pretty good.
Below is a picture of a side of 'Totchos'. These crispy tater tot nachos are loaded up with Chili, Cheese, Pico de Gallo and Sour Cream. A side of Totchos goes for $5.25.
Although the messy, loaded tater tots are delicious, it's also nice to have a side of the plain tater tots too! Below is a picture of a side of tater tots next to a side of thin and crispy onion rings. The onions are cut skinny and breaded to order. The plain tater tots go for $4 and the Skinny Rings are $4.50.
As a main dish I ordered the Hot Chick. This is a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich covered in buffalo sauce and topped with a blue cheese coleslaw. It was served with a pickle and a cup of coleslaw.
It was a flavorful sandwich and the chicken had a lovely buttermilk battered coating. The only problem was the chicken meat was way too thin. I enjoy a nice chunk of chicken breast.
The Hot Chick sandwich costs a hefty $8.50.
Overall, Dog Town is a great fast-food joint located in Milford, Connecticut. It's definitely a big step up from the chain restaurants, but it also carries a higher price tag. They have good burgers and good sides. So far I've been there 3 times and I've never had a hot dog... Perhaps I need to give a try since that's what they are known for!

Nice write up! I feel like this is in @tattoodjay's neck of the woods! That is a bummer that the patty is so thin. Especially compared to the amount of slaw they put on it. It still looks like a tasty sammy though!
Haha yes, @tattoodjay and I get to share a lovely little town. Although it wasn’t as much meat as I like, it was still a good sandwich. The slaw is awesome

I have never tried food from there , and at first I was thinking where is that but then realized you took the shot from the side and I realized it was this place,
I may have to check it out sometime

I am trying to eat Healthy these days but I may have to have a cheat day and check them out :)
Yummm... the skinny onion rings look great as do the tater tots, both! I like deep fried (who doesn't, they just can't admit it! lol) and potatoes, any kind... so these would be my favourites. That main looks great by me... so I'll eat all of that! Which is saying something, as I'm known to be a lil picky with my food... Now, I wish they were here in Malaysia... sad...
