ISS HAPPY'S 5 FAVORITE VEGAN STEEMIT RECIPES OF THE WEEK #9 💚

I hope you're all doing great today! Did you have a nice weekend so far? This weekend was a rather "relaxed" one for us because we have been feeling super overworked lately and decided to take this weekend off (usually this is the time of the week, when we work most - crazy right). So yesterday we slept in, had a nice lunch at an amazing vegan restaurant here in Ubud, took a little motorbike tour and relaxed at home (with a little work in the evenening - there is not a single day, where we don't at least check e-mails and stuff).
Today we went to a vegan brunch and later we are returning to the same place for an event called "inner dance" which is a meditative state of trance where you discovere your deep self. Don't know what to expect of it, so I guess I'll go without any expectations and enjoy the experience.
But before we leave, I wanted to share my 5 favorite vegan Steemit recipes of the week. This week's collection is super colourful and diverse since it covers sweet, savory and even cheese! 💚

1. Vegan chocolate puffed rice bars by @nina.ser
Many people fear, that when they go on the health journey, they can't indulge in delicious treats anymore. But this is sooo far away from the truth. When you eat plant-based and sugar free, you can still have a sweet treat - and it doesn't have to bee expensive or super complicated to make. 2. Soft white cheese made of nuts by @annasuvorova
No, as a vegan you don't have to miss out on anything. Not even cheese! If you want to know how to make your own soft white cheese, you should definitely check out this amazing recipe by @annasuvorova. Who would have thought that it's so easy to make vegan cheese! 3. Marinated Kale & Quinoa Nourish Bowl by @mandyfroelich
I'm a huge fan of vegan bowls since they consists of different foods such as greens, veggies, grains, nuts and seeds. One of the most important things is the dressing. I love this Macrobiotic-inspired bowl by @mandyfroelich since it combines some of my very favorite foods: kale, quinoa, avocado and sprouts. For her dressing, Mandy used hemp seed oil which is a very good source of omega-3 fatty acids. You can find the easy instructions here.
4. Moussaka-style veggie bake with avocado cashew cheese @amy-goodrich
This yummy moussaka-style veggie bake by the talented @amy-goodrich is not only one but 3 recipes in one post. I especially love the avocado cashew cheese because it looks sooo creamy! I have bookmarked this recipe and will make it as soon as I have an oven again! Go and check out the recipe here.
5. Almond and coconut cookie dough cake by @celestialcow
This indulgent looking cake indeed reminds of Ben and Jerry's cookie dough. But this one isnot only plant-based and cruelty free, but healthy as well. I'm not really a vegan (mostly vegetarian), but from time to time I cook vegan dishes if there's something that really convinces me :) These are quite creative though and probably they offer something for your palate to hang onto :)
