Homemade Authentic, Aromatic And Delicious "Steam Lamb Rice"! (100% Original)
Hello Steemians,
Today, i am going to share with steemians an original "Steam Lamb Rice" Recipe.
Ingredients:
Basmati Long Grain Rice 1 kg
Lamb Mutton 1 kg
Red Chili pwd 3 tsp
Salt 3 tsp
All Spice Mix pwd 2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Onions 4 big fried golden brown
Saffron 2 pinches full soaked in 1/2 cup milk
Coriander 1 bunch
Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
Green chilies 3
Yogurt 350 grams
Lemon juice 1 nos
Clarified butter 3 tsp
Cardamom 5
Cloves 5
Cinnamon 2
Green Chilies 5
Method:
1)In a big thick bottomed heavy pot, put lamb meat, ginger garlic paste, salt, all spice mix powder, chili powder, coriander leaves, mint leaves, lemon juice, golden fried onions (add half of them and keep a portion for garnishing at the time of serving), one cup of clarified butter and yogurt.. Mix all the above ingredients well and marinate for two hours.
2)Take another pot and boil about 3 liters of water with salt, cardamom, cinnamon, green chilies & cloves... and after few minutes add basmati rice and cook for just 5 mins till the rice is par-boiled, strain the rice with the help of a strainer.
3)With the help of a big spoon put the rice evenly over the marinated mutton prepared in Step one.
4)Lastly sprinkle saffron with milk all over orange food color and 2 tsp of clarified butter...Cover with silver foil the mouth of the pot so that no steam evaporates and place a lid over it.
5)Place this pot over high flame for 10 mins and then on low flame for another 30-40 minutes. Once done garnish with remaining fried onions, dry fruits and serve hot.
