Red Bean Soup 红豆汤

This is a blow of sweet red bean soup. You can drink it in the morning with your breakfast or in the afternoon as a dessert.
Drinking red bean soup is one of the best ways to eliminate edema, and also help to detox the body.

Instructions:

Wash and soak red beans in water for 12 hours. Place red beans and 2 tbs sugar in a saucepan to cook it for 40 minutes until red beans soft.

Meanwhile, place glutinous rice flour in a large mixing bowl, add some hot water (60-70 C) to it, use your hand to mix well until form a smooth soft dough.
sprinkle some dry flour on the plate.cut the dough into many pieces and form small balls. put them in the plate,one by one.

When red beans is cooked, remove some red beans to a large bowl,cool it. put some sweet dumplings in the saucepan, go on cooking for 2-3 minutes until sweet dumpling float on the surface.

They are cooked and dish up.

红豆汤:
红豆洗净,浸泡12小时.
煮锅内加入莫过红豆的水,加入白砂糖,煮40分钟。
这期间做小汤圆。糯米粉加入适量热水(50-60度)搅拌均匀,用手合成光滑的面团。面团分割成若干个小剂子,揉成圆球状。盘内撒一些干粉,以防粘连。把做好的小汤圆放入盘中。如果吃不完可冷冻保存一些。
直到红豆软烂。捞出一部分红豆,(因为我一次做的比较多,有一些蜜红豆可冷冻保存做别的待用。)放入小汤圆,继续煮2-3分钟,待汤圆漂浮在水面就熟了。
汤圆也可以分开煮熟,然后加入红豆汤中。
一碗甜甜的很有营养的红豆汤就做好了,趁热享用。

I like to add salt, coconut sugar, some dried orange peel in powder form, even sweet potatoes and fresh lily bulb. It is really good.

没有年糕就用汤圆替代了。从来没加过陈皮啊。呵呵。
