Hash Browns & Breakfast
Homemade Hash Browns
So I got this crazy idea to make homemade hash browns in the middle of hot June! The kitchen got heated up so hot that I nearly fainted from heat stroke!
But anyway, let me share with you the process on how to make good hash browns. (And by the way... in the end, I ended up only making about 2 or 3 before I gave up and decided to make mashed potatoes instead...because of the Korean heat!)
So, you grate it as usual.
But the most important part is that after you grate it, you need to take as much water out of it as possible. I do this by putting it on a clean towel and pushing down on it to absorb all the water out of it. You can also use a paper towel.
Put oil in the pan of course, and put your dry grated potato in the pan and flatten it out. The rest is pretty much a no-brainer. You know... put salt on it, flip it over, blah blah blah.
Eggs and Bacon
For the eggs and bacon thing,
I cooked 2 pieces of bacon and then on top of it I cracked an egg to cook. It worked out pretty well.
Grapes
It was dessert!
Welp, this concludes today's breakfast.
See you in the next post!
Don't forget to follow me if you haven't already.
Man, that egg and bacon, with the grapes looks magnificent. Just had breakfast, but you actually made me feel hungry again at once!
I saw this video where precooked potatoes are grated over the pan and then some oil to fry it up after which some scrambled eggs are added to make the hashbrowns. Then maybe put some things in it for a variation @gungho
Now you made me crave for hashbrowns now :|
Just reading this makes my tummy rumble with hunger.
I think it's close to dinner time!
Yummy! Very delicious!
And crispy, too!
