Steemians! OMG, Santa's Coming!!

Are you even close to being ready?

NOTE:

I composed this post using Streemian.com Scheduled Post. Any bugs or oddities, now you know why.

I confess, I am not ready for Christmas. Every day just seems to get busier and busier and yet I am not accomplishing everything I need to get done.

A cup of hot cocoa is obligatory this time of year, am I right?

So who of you is still searching for that gift(s) for all those on your list? This is a perfect gift, it's liquid chocolate made by you. What could be more thoughtful?

RECIPES

Classic Hot Chocolate:
2/3 cup powered sugar
1/3 cup powdered milk
1/4 cup cocoa powder
scrapings from 1 vanilla bean or 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup mini marshmallows (or enough to fill the rest of jar)

Peppermint Patty Hot Cocoa:
2/3 cup powered sugar
1/3 cup powdered milk
1/4 cup cocoa powder
scrapings from 1 vanilla bean or 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup peppermint patties, chopped
1/2 cup candy cane pieces (or enough to fill the rest of jar)

To make the mix jars:

  2. Include the following instructions in a note or tag with jars:
    Instructions:

  3. Mix contents of jar together.

  4. Add 4 tablespoons of mix per 1 cup of boiling milk or water. Makes 6 - 8 cups

such a creative gift idea

So awesome, a comment from @doitvoluntarily. Thank you for the compliment, I really appreciate it

@gringalicious, I will take one of each flavor.

Done! What time would you like to pick that up today? I'll make sure to have it ready

Beautiful presentation. They look very yummy too, I fancy a cup!

I fancy serving you a cup! Come on by, we'll share a cup or two of cocoa, java or maybe something with ice. I shall let you pick. Thanks so much for the kind compliment.

Thanks for the offer! I restocked with the coco ready for Christmas. One of my favourite things to do on a snowy day is to drink hot chocolate- all I need now is some snow! Drinking hot chocolate in the British fog isn't as romantic a notion.

Well, one thing that has been difficult about moving from Idaho to Southern Chile is now we get sun tans on Christmas instead of snow. This is my 4th Christmas here and it is still odd. Getting better every year though.

Nailed it again @gringalicious. Over the Christmas holidays I am going to have to try a handful of these recipes. :)

You are seriously too talented for words. Awesome gift idea. Although with it being a blazing hot summers day here I think an Iced chocolate would go down a treat.

Ahh yes, a fellow friend in the Southern Hemisphere. Not that many of us , compared to the rest . Yes, ice would be good indeed. Thanks so much for the compliment. Upped your TOOT post earlier.
