Lipton Onion Soup Mix roasted potatoes

I roasted some potatoes the other day which are easy to make and tastes quite delicious. Shot below is right out of the oven...

I first noticed this recipe on the backside of a box of Lipton Onion Soup mix. I used Ranch dressing mix with these potatoes which came out good, but I think the Onion Soup mix tastes a better IMO.

All you do is cut up some white or red potatoes and put them in a plastic baggie. (Make sure the size of the cuts are similar to ensure even cooking)

Add a package of Onion Soup Mix (Or Ranch) and add any other seasoning that you like. (Garlic! Chilli flakes!) The Soup mix usually has enough sodium, so you may want to go light on any seasoning that has it.

Once your seasoning and potatoes are in the bag, just add enough olive oil to coat all of the potatoes, then mix well in the bag.

Line a flat pan with aluminum foil and spread the potato mixture evenly. Place in a 425* pre heated oven for about 45-50 minutes.

The potatoes may stick, so I move them around at 15 minute mark and a few times after that.

They are good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I usually have them with a few eggs, easy over or a vegetable scramble. Like ketchup? Pour it on!
