It is another fantastic day in the Garden of Eden, and we are giving thanks for more than enough of everything in this abundant life of freedom!  

We made a delicious feast for our volunteers today, cooking over fire on our rocket stoves in our sustainable outdoor kitchen! As usual, there was more than enough food for everyone, and we are happy to share our abundance with you.

We have enjoyed an epic week of extra special holiday feasting, so today we made a simpler meal of yummy snacks and leftovers! 

We started with a lovely plate of crispy chicken and veggie spring rolls garnished with fresh chives. We made a quick sauce by mixing ginger, brown sugar, chili, garlic, and cranberry sauce! 

We enjoyed our delicious daily salad too with lots of greens and herbs, radishes, mushrooms, broccoli rabe, carrots, and a thick homemade dressing with garlic, tahini, and greek yogurt! 

The children LOVE salad because they help grow our delicious, nutritious vegetables!

We reheated some of our leftover ham and turkey from our Christmas Day & Christmas Eve feasts as well.

And because it was just so epic the first time, we made a dish of pineapple in lemon-Thai-basil ginger sauce with pineapple mint again too!! 

Food is important, and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love. We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food!
