How to make potica

Lot of people at least heard about potica.
Even pope Francis love potica.

But what is potica and how to make it?

Potica is traditional slovenian dessert. Most known potica have walnut filling, but it can have more than 80 fillings.
In this post i will tell you how to make this tasty food.

First you need to at least 60 minutes or more to make it.

Ingredients for filling:
~400 grams of walnuts
~2 spoons of breadcrumbs
~200 grams of sugar
~1/2 of small spoon of coffee
~120 grams of butter
~0,25 liter of boiled milk
~1 egg
~1 spoon of rum

Ingredients for dough:
~600 grams of white flour
~30 or 40 grams of yeast
~0,35 liter of warm milk
~80 grams of sugar
~80 grams of butter
~1 small spoon of rum
~8 egg yolk
~2 egg white

Preparation:
First you need to mix walnuts, sugar, coffee and melted butter.Add boiled milk and let it stand. After half an hour, mix egg yolks, rum and egg whites.

Prepare yeast. Mix the yeast with 0,05 liter of warm milk and half a small spoon of sugar. Let it rise.

Sift the flour into the bowl, make a well and pour the yeast into it. Mix with a little flour and let it rise for two minutes.
Put salt, yolks, sugar, rum in the flour on the side and slowly add the milk and mash the dough. When the dough is already compact, add butter and mix everything together.

Cover the dough and allow it to warm up. When it's grown up, place it on the table and roll it out. Lubricate the pot with walnut filling and tighten it tightly. Place it in a baking tray or a pot-shaped model that you previously greased with butter. Tune it with a thin knitting machine and let it rise.

Lubricate the stimulated potion with the egg and place it in the oven at 220 ° C. When browned, lower the temperature to 180 ° C. Bake for an hour. When the domestic walnut roast is roasted, lubricate it with butter or oil.
