Salami Pepperoni and Ham on a Baked Garlic and Parm Asiago Dough

in #food7 years ago (edited)

So one of the perks of working in a restaurant is being able to make yourself something to eat.
The problem is that after years of working at the same place, you grow tired of what's on the menu. So sometimes you Just have to make your own creation. This is mine. :)

Here's what I did.

First I needed to make the bread for my baked sandwich. I'm not sure why to call it. I originally called it a Panini yet I don't know if that fits. Though it was tasty. :)

So I grabbed a dough ball give or take nine ounces, and I flattened it out. Smashing the air out of it.

Then I stretch it into a square about 2ft long 12 inches wide.

Then I cut it in half from top to bottom, and set one half aside for later.

Then I grabbed a metal pan and placed a piece of parchment paper in it.

Moved the dough to the pan and drizzled classified butter over it.

Covered the dough with garlic.

Sprinkled the shredded parmasian

Covered the pan with two metal pizza screens to keep it from burning and baked for six minutes at 465 degrees.

I know most of my readers aren't in a pizza store, yet the idea is bake to a light golden brown. I would have preferred it a little lighter, but it was still good.

Now that the bread was done I added American cheese

Pepperoni

Ham

Then Salami, shredded provolone, and shredded cheddar. (I just realized I did not take a picture if the Salami. . Oops)

Then I baked for another three minutes just to melt the cheese and heat up the Salami, Pepperoni, and Ham

After the cheese was melted I folded it over.

Then I cut it into four pieces. My own preference makes it easier to eat.

Then I shared a few pieces and enjoyed the rest :)
I know I made this in a professional kitchen and to make it at home would require different tools, yet all you need to make this at home would be some pizza dough the different cold cuts and cheeses some baking butter and garlic. I hope you enjoyed my post. I definitely enjoyed making it.
Thank you
God Bless :)

enjoying to watch your process of creation here. Outstanding :)

You really have a very nice hand work, secondly the product is fresh and neat well disccribed too. There is nothing like "handwork" when you key-in, i will advise you to start saving some penny for the tools if by buying it one after the other fine because no one know tomorrow. Thanks.

That's okay I was cook for many years. I worked several different quality restaurants, made my way up the ladder. I could handle a 50,000 dollar shift no problem. Yet I didn't like the ladder I was climbing so I got off. I've trained several really good cooks, but that's not the life I want. I have friends that worked with me in many fast pace quality restaurants. They still work in the industry. I just don't want it. :)

For now I'm a delivery person that happens to have been a cook.

Put that in my face please!

Lol it was pretty bomb lol

Next time I make I'll Send you a piece lol :)

looks delicious! well done

Thank you. It was pretty good lol

It looks like calzone. There is a lot of calories on this photo :p

Lol well I think your right. ;)

Calzones are baked with the meat and sauce inside. That's why I didn't call it a calzone lol
