Thanks for sharing. I quit subway post yoga mat. Now I cook.
"And the results, will probably surprise a lot of consumers who frequent these stores." Those poor people. I am about as surprised by this as my dog needing to take a dump tonight.
@doitvoluntarily .. I never eat on those ffs ..
some of them may even be serving franken chicken
I always buy organic and I love the drumsticks more than the breast but never a fan of wings
the sad part is every time there's an economic crash the dow jones rises therefore many of us eat from those cause they're cheap but the consequences of eating fast food is actually going to be huge when we get older.
It's disgusting what governments allow corporations to get away with these days. My wife and I, unfortunately, don't have room to grow/raise our own food but we do shop at a local coop and buy local whenever possible. A friend of ours raises chickens and the eggs are like nothing we've even gotten at the organic market. Delicious. The yolks are dark orange, not the usual yellow of store bought. Thanks for keeping us informed!
i know what you mean about the yolks!! i only get pasture raised eggs now and the yolks look much richer and deeper orange than the commercial regular eggs.. or an egg from mc donalds? lol like highlighter yellow yolk! hhaha
I'll raise my own from now on, thanks!
no pink slime for the peppers!
Not this time! Thanks!
Buy and prepare you own food. That is what I'm doing.
Agreed, even raise and butcher yourself if possible
I use to do that, also. And gardening is important source of healthy food. That's what oldimers still know how to manage.
These days I think that you might need to live like an oldtimer if you ever want to become and oldtimer!
Good one. I read many of your posts. You and your family are on a good path to become one of us one day.
Lord willing, we sure hope so!
Thanks @oldtimer!
that's a great quote! ain't that the truth!
Unfortunately! I put it right up there with:
Live like your life depends on it!
yes seeing things like this def makes me want to cook more at home haha
That is nothing yet. They just show as a little, so we think we have some influence to solve something. It's much, much worse than we think.
I do the same.
Thank you for an eyeopening post.
thank you for taking the time to read/comment! :)
Interesting and useful information! It's fortunate that I presently do not eat them much like before. Thank you very much for sharing! :)

it's not just the dna of the chicken that's an issue.. most of those have msg according to some restaurant watchers not to mention that they are mostly deep fried which can make us age faster. That's why some of us could eat a bucket of them due to the MSG. It tricks part of your brain that its freaking licious though its not that if you put it on poop one would think it's delicious :P yuck!
