Jilapi is being fried in a pan. Before frying, it is prepared with flour, and then a bottle-like tool is used to pour the batter into the pan, forming spirals. Before that, the pan is heated and oil is added.

Once the oil is hot, the batter is released into the oil to fry. After the jilapi is fried, it is removed and dipped into a pre-made sugar syrup. After keeping it in the syrup for a while so that the syrup fully soaks into the jilapi, it is taken out and kept in a bowl. After being removed, it remains very hot for a while, so eating it can be a bit difficult.

However, when it cools down, the jilapi tastes very good. Cold jilapi, once cooled from being hot, becomes quite enjoyable to eat. Many jilapis can be fried at once in the pan.
