smell
The great thing about herbal teas is that they use flowers. I don't know if it is the Passion Fruit, Mango or the Mallow flower, but the smell does give you the tropical flour smell. This should be a woman's perfume. I could smell it all day long.
look
Since it uses black tea, the look seems more along the line of regular tea. Of course, the look doesn't matter too much. When you put the infuser into the water, it does look like a mess. This probably the flowers being lighter than the Red Rocks sticks.
Luckily, the Steep & Chill has a good filtering slots to keep most of the tea that slipped through the infuser out of your cup.
taste
The taste is very weak, but the flower smell is steong enough to make it seem like there is more there. There isn't any after taste or a bitter hard swallow.
conclusion
The black tea is said to be an energizer. I have had three cups today and it definitely is keeping me energized as much or more than the Dew. I don't know what the caffeine comparison is between the two. I might choose another black tea based mixture, but the smell is a winner on this one.
