Ulog #106: Double patty 'Firecracker'

This is another custom burger from one of our crowd favorites on the menu - The 'Firecracker'.

Why is this a custom and not just a burger with an add on beef patty? Well the composition is customed.

Our usual burger has the lettuce at the bottom and the spicy tangy chili lime aioli on top of that. Then comes the beef patty and then the cream cheese jalapeno spread will be on the top bun.

This one however as you can see from the picture below, the jalapeno cream cheese is sandwiched between the two beef patties, and the chili lime aioli is on top of the patties with the lettuce on the last layer on top.

Why? Well the customer thought he knew better than me on what should go where of a burger XD

It's ok though. This was a friend of mine and the burger was new at the time, so we wanted to try out some different stacking positions to see which one gets a better mouthfeel when biting into the burger.

Conclusion? To me, either way doesn't make much of a significant difference so I've stuck to the original way I designed it to be.

His version got to be a good picture though for our social media pages. Looked Insta-worthy and a picture that would make you drool, don't you think so?
