Zuccini Noodle Pasta "Low Carb & Low Glycemic" / FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY

Hello steemians! Today I'm making this zuccini pasta. It's super healthy, quick & easy and so flavory! So you better try making this one now and you'll never regret.

Health is wealth. They said what you eat is who you are. Today we're making this very healthy recipe I got from my friend. She wanted me to try this dish and today I made it!

I love the combination of toasted sesame oil, tamari soy sauce, honey and apple cider vinegar. You toss this combi on your salad and boom it'll taste so A-mazing. :-)

So here it is.

INGREDIENTS

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup tamari soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey

Pasta

  • zucchini, spiralized
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 350 g tofu, drained, pressed down and cut into cubes
  • sesame seeds
  • green onion, chopped

DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash zuccini and make zuccini noodles using a spiralizer. Rinse with clean water and pat dry. Set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, mix all sauce ingredients in a blender and pulse until you get a smooth texture.
  3. In a medium size skillet, heat olive oil and add the onion. Gently tossing it until golden brown.
  4. Add the tofu and some sesame oil. Do not toss. Let it sit for 2 minutes until one side of tofu is light browned then toss gently.
  5. Add half of the sauce and stir to combine for 3 mins and remove from heat.
  6. Prepare zuccini pasta on a plate. Add tofu on top and shower additional sauce, sesame seeds and chili flakes.
