Cherry plum

Strongly prickly branched multistemmed trees, sometimes shrub with thin brownish-green shoots, 3-10 meters high. The flowers are white or pink, single. It blooms in early May. The fruits ripen in August and September.

Fruit - round juicy yellow, red or almost black drupes sizes from small cherries to 3 cm, sometimes elongated or flattened, yellow, red, purple or almost black, with a light waxy bloom and weak longitudinal groove.

Cherry plum little demanding on the soil and is used against many diseases.
