Srimati (Indian Apple pie)

Indian pie "Srimati" — a very simple and delicious method of recycling not only apples but also pears, plums, cherries and other similar juicy gifts of nature :-)

Cooking time: 1 hour, 20 min.
Number of servings: 6
Ingredients:
- Semolina, 200 gr.
- Flour, 150 gr.
- Kefir, 250 gr.
- Vegetable oil, 125 gr.
- Sugar, 170 gr.
- Apples, 6-7 PCs.
- Raisins, 2-3 tablespoons.
- Vanilla sugar, 2 tablespoons
- Baking soda, 1 tsp
Mix semolina with kefir and leave for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Vanilla and simple sugar mix with vegetable oil.
Apples clean from bones and skin, cut into small pieces.
Combine all ingredients except apples and raisins. Vigorously mix until smooth.
Add apples, raisins and mix again.
Grease the form with oil and spread our future pie it in.
Bake for 40-50 minutes and allow to cool slightly. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
