Chicken Pad Thai
Hello!
Today we will prepare Pad Thai with chicken, but you can do it with pork, beef, shrimps, or even to cook without meat. For example, with tofu, cabbage, or eggplant.
Difficulty: 3/10
Cooking time: 15 min.
Number of servings: 3
Ingredients:
- Rice noodles, 180 gr.
- Chicken, fillet, 360 gr.
- Coriander 5 gr.
- Roasted peanuts, 30 gr.
- Thai sweet sauce, 45 gr.
- Fish sauce, 25 ml
- Tamarind pasta, 30 gr.
- Peanut butter, 20 ml
- Sriracha sause, 5 gr.
- Onion, 1 PC.
- Egg, 1 PC.
- Garlic, 1 prong
- Chili pepper, 1 PC.
- Brown sugar, 5 gr.
- Salt, vegetable oil
Boil the water, cook the noodles for five to seven minutes, throw them in a colander, sprinkle with vegetable oil, stir, set aside.
Cut the chicken into pieces. Peel the onion and cut it into half rings, finely chop the garlic, chilli pepper in small pieces, crush the peanuts, chop the coriander smaller.
In a wok or deep frying pan, heat the peanut butter and fry the garlic and onion for two minutes over high heat.
Add the chicken and fry, stirring, for four minutes.
Add the peanuts, sugar, all the sauces, tamarind paste, chili pepper, stir and cook for one minute.
Be sure to try the sause before adding pepper. Thai sauce and especially Sriracha are very spicy and if you don't like spicy food, don't add pepper.
Add the noodles and stir.
Shift the noodles to the side, break the egg, and fry for a minute.
Add the coriander, mix everything thoroughly, salt to taste and serve.
Bon appetit!
