Only in Wisconsin
So for my birthday dinner we wound up at a place that was only a couple hundred yards from my cabin. To start things off I had a cup of Beer Cheese Soup. It was interesting to say the least especially with the Popcorn garnish.
For my main course they brought me out a massive 20oz prime rib. On the side were some of the creamiest twice based potatoes I've ever had. If you ever find yourself in Wild Rose check out The Red Fox.

OMG that looks so tasty. I may have to drive from Indiana, through Illinois, and to wherever I need to go to Wisconsin to give that a try.
I think my wife would love the soup with the popcorn garnish and I would love that huge slab of meat.
I have had beer cheese soup but never with popcorn kind of weird it seem but maybe it’s a good combination

That is such a weird addition to soup...popcorn. This might be a growing theme. I went to a restaurant a couple of weeks ago and a friend ordered some mashed potatoes and the restaurant put popcorn on it...very weird. Looks like you had a good meal though, and happy birthday (belated).

I live not-too-far from Wild Rose and have seen that restaurant but never stopped in. The food looks amazing! I wouldn't expect that in such a small town. I just searched and found their menu and the items you show don't appear on it. Do you think it might be limited to certain nights?
