Fantasy homemade bread

Fantasy Bread, homemade bread with potatoes and vegetables on top.

Homemade bread with potatoes, with a fluffy and fine texture. The crust is thin and slightly crunchy at first touch, but becomes softer as the bread cools. The core is extremely fluffy, soft and spongy, offering a pleasant sensation that melts in the mouth. This homemade bread stays soft for several days.

ingredients

-1 kg of flour
-500 g yellow potatoes, floury
-2 teaspoons of salt
-1 packet of dry yeast (7 g)
-1 teaspoon of sugar
-50 ml of oil
-500 ml water

Clean the potatoes, cut them into cubes and boil them in water with 1 teaspoon of salt. It foams and lets it boil well.

Drain the water, mash the potatoes as best as possible, so that no whole pieces remain, to make a puree as smooth as possible, then leave to cool.

Sift the flour, add dry yeast and sugar and mix.

Pour the mashed potatoes, thinned with 300 ml of water or milk, 2 teaspoons of salt and knead.

If more is needed, add more warm water, as needed, to make a suitable dough.

The dough is covered with a clean napkin and left to rise.

After 30 minutes, check the dough and shape the bread. It can be baked in trays of any shape, I made a large loaf of bread today, in the oven on the stove.

Leave to rise for 20-30 minutes, brush with egg, sprinkle with seeds and bake at 180 degrees Celsius.

Test with a toothpick after 30-40 minutes.

The bread with potatoes is very soft and fine, absolutely delicious, too good even.

Donuts, croissants, pizza, cakes, etc. can be made from the same dough. 🙂
