Imagine, friends, after a fun spring thaw, after the snow melted in many places, we again unexpectedly returned winter. Frost dropped to -20 degrees again! So, what could be nicer on a frosty day than to try a new colorful hot dish for lunch?

Sweet bell peppers with its amazing aroma and delicate flavor I cook today. I like this variety of colors in my plate, especially among the winter cold. It looks like a summer flower glade. And this dish is very tasty and fragrant. I recommend you to try it.

Ingredients for stewed peppers:

  • peppers 8 pieces'
  • rice 200 g
  • ground beef 200 g
  • onions 1 pieces'
  • salt, pepper, dill, parsley

Preparation:

1. Peel the peppers from the seeds.
2. Prepare the minced meat.
3. Add onion, salt, pepper and finely chopped herbs to minced meat.
4. Boil the rice until soft.
5. Mix rice with minced meat.
6. Fill the peppers with rice and meat filling.

Ingredients for sauce:

  • 1 carrot,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 big tomato,
  • tomato paste 2 spoon,
  • sour cream 2 spoon,
  • 1 spoon flour,
  • sea salt,
  • 200 ml water,
  • a bit your favorite spices( I used parsnip, turmeric, dill, paprika)

Preparation:

1. Fry the onion and carrots.
2. Add the tomato without skin.
3. Add the tomato paste.
4. Mix sour cream, flour, water and spices.
5. Combine fried vegetables and sour cream mixture.
6. Place the peppers in a deep pan.
7. Fill them with sauce.
8. Simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
The delightful aroma fills the house. My kids ran into the kitchen asking, "what smells so good?"They were looking forward to dinner. These bright colors and the smell is really awaken your appetite!

Aromatic, colorful and delicious dinner is ready. Enjoy your meal. It is a dish with incredible taste tones: spicy pepper combined with sour shade of tomatoes, seasoned with herbs and paprika. And this flavor mix completes the tenderness of sour cream. This is a very nutritious dish. A great solution for your lunch.
