Grilled Catfish "Hito" fish with papaya pickles ( atchara)
Grilled catfish is a Philippines dishes.Catfish can be cultured in the fish pond especially in the province. Mostly this kind of fish can be bought at the pond alive and fresh.To make this recipe combine the ingredients such as chili powder, garlic powder, salt, paprika, mixed together and rub over the catfish, leave for at least 1 hour and start to grill using grid and charcoal at medium to high heat. This a delicious fish recipe and this is one of my favorite grilled fish.It is rich in protein and Vit B12.
Papaya pickles known as "atchara " is made up of unripe papaya, this serves as an appetizer.It is delicious, tastes sweet and sour.To make this recipe you must combine vinegar, sugar, salt, ginger, onions, garlic, and peppercorns, bell peppers, carrots, papaya and raisin.
