CHOCOLATE & PEANUT BUTTER FONDANT CAKE

in #food7 years ago

STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING...

GO MAKE THIS ....

I PROMISE YOU! IT'S THE BEST THING YOU HAVE EVER TRIED!

These amazing Peanut Butter Lava Cakes are to die for. Rich, moist, fudgy, gooey, and warm chocolate cake exploding with melty peanut butter that literally pools out from the center at first bite. It is more decadent than molten chocolate cake: one filled with warm peanut butter.

This looks luxurious and impressive, but its so easy to make. I like peanut-butter anything, it’s like all my favourite desserts rolled into one. Also the touch of saltiness from the peanut butter is a contrast to the rich chocolate.

Ingredients
200g dark chocolate, chopped
100g unsalted butter, chopped
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup (110 gr ) caster (superfine) sugar
1/4 cup (35 gr) plain (all- purpose) flour, sifted
peanut butter
Cocoa + Butter or cooking spray, for coating
Berries ( for decoration)

Directions

Step 1 : Preheat oven to 200 C or 390 F.
Step 2: Melt your chocolate and butter in a microwave in 30 second breaks or over the saucepan over low heat and stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Step 3 : Place the eggs, extra yolks and sugar in a bowl and whisk until well combined. Add the chocolate mixture and flour and whisk again.
Step 4 : Grease each ramekin with butter or cooking spray and add some cocoa powder around and coat each ramekin.
Step 5 : Spoon about 1-2 tbsp of the mixture into the moulds/ ramekins. Add 1 tsp of peanut butter in the centre of each mould. Add another 1-2 scoops of chocolate mixture to cover it. Make sure your ramekins are 3/4 filled. Do not over fill them, because they are going to rise.
Step 6 : Place moulds/ ramekins on a baking tray and bake for 12- 13 minutes OR until the cake springs back when you touch the surface with your finger. Gently turn out the cakes immediately and dust with icing sugar and berries to serve.

It looks so good!

I can't. I'm too busy making your yummy pancakes from earlier.

will love to eat this but i am not a good cook and i am afraid that i will destroy the whole recipe if i try to make it at home...

hahahah that made me laugh out hard :P brilliant!!!

Died and gone to heaven. I want this it's my Bday in a month.

Oh my god that looks so go

Looks incredibly delicious, that cake's taste is melting in my mouth.

I am terrified of learning how to make delicious desserts like this. I am so glad that I never got really good at baking. I think I would hurt myself eating every dessert I made if they looked this good. Do you give them away before you could get tempted or do you eat them? I would have serious postpartum if I had to give one of these beautiful desserts away. lol

heheh i give them away majority of time! but i made this raw vegan chocolate and caramel cheesecake and because i know its heathy or healthier i have eaten half a CAKE!! :O

hahahahaha sounds like me. I think I would be 10000000 lbs if I did not make all of my recipes healthy. That was one of the big points for me to consider, that I love to eat and I would surely be eating everything I cooked to the last bite, so I had to make it work.

Chocolate and peanut butter sounds good to me. And you gave fruit on the side. Can't beat that.

nice post ! upvoted and followed! :)

I will try to make, but mine will end up looking nothing like the picture :')

they will!! trust me easy recipe :P
