After the volunteer work at Decathlon last Friday, I walked to the rather famous food centre at Old Airport Road for lunch. I'm not a person who likes to queue but it's earlier than peak lunch time and there is already a queue at this wanton dumpling noodle stall. I expected the queue to be longer later. So, I decided to join in.

Since I don't go there often, I decided to get a bigger bowl of $4 noodles and was not disappointed. The chili sauce was nice.

That looks pretty good for the money. Do they have all you can eat buffets there?
Not for this place. Food centre is part of our food culture which evolves from days where hawkers peddle their food to congregating them into place called hawker centre and subsequently food centre. In malls, there are similar ones where there is airconditioning but we tend to call them food courts. There is not a drive to get this into UNESCO
