Sometimes, you need to take a photo using your mobile phone using only one hand like what I was doing. The other hand with something else. In my case, another phone trying to record a video of the process. I learnt this by trying different way and practicing until I believe I found what works for me. Let me show you what I figure out. My Samsung Galaxy S8+ phone has a setup where you can double click on the on/off button to activate the camera. After that, a quick flip and that’s how I usually hold my phone to shoot. Kind of different from most people. So, remember I (@ace108) is the one who did this. Remember Dick Fosbury was the first in the world to revolutionized high jump as in this entry in wikipedia 😎

Would take me some practice!
You will get use to it soon enough especially if your phone has the on/off button that activates the camera quickly. Soon, people will see the cool way you take pictures. :-)

Maybe this will work but for someone who is clumsy and has sweaty hands, I don't think I can do it without strapping the phone to my hand lol!
A strap will help some but to others maybe more obstruction when you are trying to shoot.
Sometimes covering the lens even.

I don't use iPhone but there should be a Pro mode. Most higher end phone has that. If not, the next best thing which may not work all the time one setting which has a + or - EV setting.
