Fuchsia Crepe Myrtles

In the wake of HF20, it was advised that we only make a short post or two while the blockchain stabilizes. So, here is a lovely view of the fuchsia Crepe Myrtle trees lining a neighbor's driveway, so called because the flowers are crinkly like crêpe fabric. I think this scene is delightful, with all the fuchsia and green! Be sure to click to enlarge!

          that is the entrance driveway???? must be rich! or is it common there, with beautiful neighborhood?? wanna move there hahaha

            Yes, that is the driveway entrance to the neighbor's property! No, that is not common in this area to have such a gorgeous driveway. And no, the lady that owns the property is not rich, but she is living comfortably. When she and her husband bought the property 50-60 years ago, they got a good deal on 13 acres of land (5.3 hectares). Over the years, they gradually improved the property. The row of Crepe Myrtle trees were planted many years ago, when the lady's husband was still alive.The row of Forsythia bushes were planted to hide the barbed-wire fence around the horse pasture (on the left-side) which is now just an open field. The house that sits on the lawn to the right is a 3-bedroom brick ranch, which is nice, but not extravagant, The cool thing is the property is directly across the street from me, so I get to see it often! 😊
