The weather conditions are different on the surface of the earth then up until the moon. That's my best answer to that.
Did you document your experiment? Because else it is of no importance to bring it up here, as anyone can say "I did my own experiments".

I have a video of it but I was a child when I learned this fact! I do not think it is appropriate to upload, but I will do another one and make a post about it...
