Because You Just Can't Get Enough of Cryptokitties

Because the hype continues, despite the Ethernet network being totally bogged down by the #Cryptokitties, we feel obliged to share witness @timcliff's excellent introduction to Cryptokitties

Why you should read it:

I love online gaming, and I have a history dealing with economies of intangible digital 'things' that somehow translate into real-world value. Back in high-school, my brother and I made quite a bit of money one summer selling Diablo-II items to other players. Games where we can buy and sell digital items are 100% down our alley.

In the meantime, we get to post this awesome Garfield comic by the legendary Jim Davis. Somehow, it seems right down our own snarky cryptoalley. Because... insidery, because... Garfield.

Steem most definitely needs more Garfield but maybe we are just being totally old-fashioned and projecting our lack of understanding the hype by means of legendary snark.

We aren't saying we dislike the educational value cryptokitties can have but #FOMO is at almost all time highs when more than $100k is offered for a digital kitten. And the ETH network clearly isn't as in love with the kitties as the feline fanbase is. I think that it's suffering from kittens biting the cables.
