Steemit Daily 100+ Rep Fitness Challenge Completed - Day 10 - Exercise Log 3-23-18
My tenth day taking part in the #fitnesschallenge by @steemmatt! It's been a tough ten days and it's been hard to focus on other posts because I am more tired than normal.
I am hoping to keep this routine up and then add my posts back into the mix. It's important that I focus on my health first though! Those of you that are used to my other posts, bare with me! As I find what I want to post about throughout my steemit career there are times like these where I need to re-prioritize as well as make the time. I'll bounce back! I've also been asked to judge the #comedyopenmic contest so I must preserve my VP this week to help this hilarious tag become a success! We all have a funny bone so join up!

My Daily Challenge Completed
I've been more focused on getting reps done but it was also pointed out to me that slower reps will give me better results. This means that moving forward my reps will be less, but I'm also doing much slower reps which actually gives me a better work out. This was a tip given to me by a friend who basically does the same thing. While my reps were not terrible, slower is better so I will do just that! I check online for charts that tell me the names of these exercises.
- 100 Air Squats
- 50 Sit ups
- 50 Standing Oblique Twists
- 100 Curls Left Arm (15 lbs)
- 100 Curls Right Arm (15 lbs)
- 35 Dumbbell Extensions Left Arm (15 lbs)
- 35 Dumbbell Extensions Right Arm (15 lbs)
- 10 Concentration Curls Left Arm (15 lbs)
- 10 Concentration Curls Left Arm (15 lbs)

It was one of the kids birthday so we went out to eat. What a treat! Texas Roadhouse! I couldn't help but bring my camera for some good shots of food. My only mistake was not taking pictures of everyone else's food as well but maybe they would have gotten annoyed since we were all very hungry!

My Motivation
I've decided to stop smoking cigarettes in the beginning of January and have been meaning to start an exercise routine to replace my smoking habit with something much healthier. It's been rough quitting, and even tougher getting the motivation and energy to start a daily exercise routine but thanks to this challenge, I've motivated myself to get it done! When I get urges, I plan on exercising instead!
Excellent work with logging all of your progress. I've worked out for years and have always wanted to keep a log, just never managed to do it. I do follow a series of routines (by muscle group) and have variations and switchups that I do to keep the workouts fresh. But, at the end of the day, I essentially just work my ass off till I'm exhausted, go home.

Thanks it isn't easy to keep up on it and hopefully I can continue! I'm not following much of a routine I'm just trying to be consistent. If it doesn't hurt, I work it out. Happy to help the comedyopenmic community! I need laughs!
