Pull workout, then #runforsteem
Yesterday, I did my pull workout, and it went WAY better than expected. I must have slept well or something, because I can do more pullups, chinups and the heavier rows went just fine.
The run was absolute BLISS.
Here is the screenshot of strava for @jumowa and the #runforsteem challenge this week:
I would also like to note that my earnings from last weeks challenge were so good I had to share them! I passed them along to another challenger (@runningdanw) and will do so again. I hope it encourages wider participation.
An acquantance saw me crossing Frame Lake, and sent me a video he shot. It really made my day to see this, and to hear him tell his son I was fast. Made two days maybe. I'm still grinning like an idiot.
On that segment I clocked my second best time EVER! I was hoping for more, but I'm tough to beat :)
I would also like to point out (brag) that the times you are seeing are me running across frozen footprints and irregular terrain.
A bit later on the run, I got a more significant performance (to me) on another segment. This one only gave my third fastest time, but it is a tough bit of trail. I'm so proud that I nearly got under 8:00/km on that part.
I'm really going to miss winter. I think I'll miss break-up, too, with my Alberta trip coming up so soon.
Thanks for running by!
