Always intrigued when I see people can just go and fish at the river. Don't think we have that here in Ghana, unless you stay close to the water body.

Hi and thanks for visiting me all the way from Ghana! I love how Steemit brings the world together.
The state of California does require a fishing license, and some locations are protected or privately owned. But this reservoir and the river only require the basic license. 2018 was the first year hubby and I bought licenses, and we have a lot to learn about the art and sport of catching fish. Hopefully, we will have better luck this year. We've been half-joking about getting a kayak or something for fishing from the middle of the local lakes....we will see.
