My First Post

Hey Steem!

So, I've had an account for almost a year, or in crypto terms, nearly a decade. I figured this could be something big and yet I just never got around to posting... Anyway, no time like the present; so here's my first post and a short introduction.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to be posting here, an initial thought was vegan recipes (i'm clearly a bad vegan as you had to wait for the third paragraph before I told you!) then I thought maybe I'd put some crypto stuff, TA, discussion, my take on news/FUD. I then realised I was only a compilation video away from embodying half of youtube and I'd probably have to think of something more original.

After days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months thinking for something original, I decided to stick to what I know. The result? Vegan recipes, business talk, crypto analysis and hey, let's throw in some opinion pieces in just for fun!

I'm not entirely sure how the upvoting and Steem dollars are divided, or the algorithm to determine who sees these posts, but if you read this far, thank you! If I get even 1c from this post it will have done more than serve its purpose. I welcome any tips, comments or questions below!

Hello and welcome @tommleach - I have many Vegan friends who are trying to educate me into becoming a vegan for health reasons, I'm still tinkering on the edge so I look forward to your recipes :)

@tommleach Well it's funny you should say that, I love chicken and fish so my diet seems to revolve around these, I'm not a big lover of veggies, I can just about stomach peas, carrots and french beans (bad I know) my downfall is pastry, as you can see by my weight struggle it isn't doing me any good lol

Hey 'deliciousplants'! Thanks for the warm welcome 😍

I'll have to see what's going on over there at #VeganBurgerContest because I have an insane beetroot and mushroom burger...

As for crypto, January is an historically bad month for btc and crypto in general, we see some frequent falls in this month. We also had a tonne of new money coming in over November/December and people doing crazy stuff like mortgaging their houses to get into the game... unfortunately this created a huge spike and what goes up must come down, so we saw a correction and then a big sell off, some people thinking they should cash out whilst they're up, others (who had only just got in) thinking their friends were right when they said 'the bubble is gonna burst!' and tried to cut their losses. Ultimately we found ourselves falling but i'm expecting to see a lot more green mid/late Feb.
