Hoist the colours, proud storytellers!

At long last, turns out that the HF20 is manageable and the interaction in both the contests possibly seems to have been reinforced by this week of pause. The 30th edition kept its promises. We enjoyed a flourishing of different endings, spread like the obscure sparkling of a sentient and malignant gem set into the handle of Yog-Sothoth's cleaver! Thank you again @dirge, our master storyteller, for giving us a story about diversity and blind discrimination of the minorities.

What's boiling in the bananafish kitchen (the news!)

  • As a special surprise for the 30th anniversary, the pot have been increased to 5 STEEM and 5 @steembasicincome shares!

  • Our amazing Mizu no Oto Haiku contest is growing every week more! Try your pen with us in this fascinating form of poetry!

  • The Bananafish keeps endorsing and recommending the Collective Intelligence platform. An innovative idea by @anarchyhasnogods which purposes a different model for rewarding quality in the most authentically decentralised way. Here's the chat and the platform's website.

  • A toast to our friend @tristancarax and the new entry @coinsandchains for their @curie vote! So far, we reached 21 curie rewards in the contest.

  • Everyone check the detailed @brisby's statistics about the rewards and engagement in almost 8 months of contest! This is the paradise for every spreadsheet geek.. thank you Bris, our unique Chief Squirrel with a yellow fin!

Let's cut the chatter, brave storytellers, the winners of the 5 STEEM + 5 @steembasicincome shares are:

  • GRAND PRIZE - 3 STEEM: @marcoriccardi. "You managed to inject principle and compassion into a savage scene. You handle the conversation adeptly. It's hard to get a juvenile tone down convincingly, but you did it. I enjoyed this ending. Very inventive." Convincing dialogues, an original spin and a very fresh approach. The reader is cuddled and, at the same time, taken to reflect around the themes of inclusion and diversity.

  • SECOND PRIZE - 2 STEEM: @ediblecthulhu. With a name like that what do you expect!? Competent and mature writing. He resembled to me Michael Moorcock's Elric or a Hyeronimus Bosch painting, as @agmoore suggested. One of the best descriptions of an outer God that I ever read.

  • POPULAR VOTE - 1 SBI: @erh.germany, @gaby-crb, @raj808 all win a @steembasicincome share!

  • BEST COMMENT: @agmoore for the high quality of her insightful comments along the participants posts, which helped me greatly in the decision process.

    A special thank to @theironfelix, @raj808, @brisby, @maverickinvictus, @cyemela, @marcoriccardi, @calluna, @oivas, @anixio, @ntowl for their precious delegations, making this project a reality!

If you like this contest..SPREAD THE GOSPEL! We're grateful for your resteeming and word of mouth. Everything helps to grow together!

GOOD LUCK, BRAVE STORYTELLERS!

I’m humbled and honored! There were so many great entries this round! Thank you for the awesome contest, and props and congrats to everyone on the fantastic stories! <3

Your welcome @ediblecthulhu (sorry for the belated reply) your entry close to the deadline totally changed the ranking.. well done. I hope to read your take in week 31 😉

I’m honored! And Week 31’s prompt looks intriguing! I like that the contest provides different topics and story types to work with and learn from. I’m not sure whether I’ll have time to join in this week, but I’ll definitely be reading and enjoying the entries!

That prompt was almost matching with a real life happening .. 🤔

I read the prompt in one of the entries before I saw the original post, didn’t realize at first that it was based on a true story. :) As ever, it’s fascinating seeing all the different directions people are taking it in!

Indeed! Especially with stories based in true facts..

congrats to the winners was a fun one to write.

Congrats to all the winners. Tough judges! Until next time...

Congrats to all the winners!

Super(belated)-huzzahhh!!

Hi @bananafish, I'm @checky ! While checking the mentions made in this post I noticed that @ehr.germany doesn't exist on Steem. Did you mean to write @erh.germany ?

Excellent choices for winners--and thank you for the comments notice. It's rewarding to read the posts and give authors feedback. A bananafish reward is cream on the cupcake. Thanks.
Congratulations to really superior writing this week.

Dirge helped me a lot in the choice.. it's always very difficult! Sorry for the belated reply.. there's always so much to keep monitored on steemit! 😅

I am speechless for the victory that has been granted to me.
Writing those dialogues in an almost childish style was very difficult and I sincerely thought I had failed.

I thank you all for the consideration and the affection you give me! Un milione di grazie!

This week, the popular choice is divided into three equal prizes, so I propose to take responsibility for the SBI shares for @erh.germany and @gaby-crb, in order to redistribute part of my prize as a shared investment.

Long live the Bananafish Tribe!

Thanks for your generosity Marco .. with all the mess running I forgot to reply to these messages darn 😁

Congrats to all the winners, It is interesting how many directions a story can take.

Your welcome! Hope it's been a fun ride for you and to see you in our week 31 ✌️
