Thanks but it wasn't my best. I'm only going to work in my own films from now on. Tired of auditioning. Worked with some of the best out in Hollywood including Pacino. So it's time to move on!
I'm flattered, but it should have been so much better. I'm tired of auditioning. I'll just act in my own films from now on. I had the good fortune to work with Hollywood's best including Pacino so I'd like to move on.
Congratulations, though I don't blame you about the auditioning part. Most of what I've heard about that is that it's uncomfortable, tiresome, mostly hard to do, and that most really don't enjoy it. And yet, there it is, like a job interview or an exam of some kind.
For what it's worth, I think you did well. Without much context other than what you described, I can see it would have been pretty difficult to just do it, but if crying on demand was the main idea, you did it. :)
I went and looked on IMDB to see what movies or TV shows I may have seen you in. The Tuxedo with Jackie Chan was on the list, so now I'll have to go back and watch that again.
Good luck with the filming, as well as your own personal film endeavors. I imagine it's all a chore to some degree, but it also must have some reward, especially when the film gets in front of an audience. :)
I kept count over the years I was auditioning rigorously and as it turned out, I got on average one booking for every 17 auditions and from what I've heard from other people, that's really good. But when you write and then act in your own piece it's more fulfilling because the statement that you want to make is one you've crated.
Hi Eric! To be truthful, I'm tired of auditioning. Been there. Done that. Had the good fortune to work with some of the best. Pacino, Judd Hirsch, Regina King, Harvey Keitel, Colin Farrell, Jennifer Love Hewitt and so on. So from now on, I'm just going work in the stuff I write. Much more satisfying!
How awesome you got to work with all of those people. Who was your favorite to work with? I'm sure it's great, at this point in your career, to have the freedom to do what you want.
Regina King! Hands down. A more generous actor and person I've not yet found. And she deserves the Oscar this year too. But Chris Rock was the most fun!
Got the role? Who could say no to you 😁
Ha! Possibly Scorsese!
hey congrats man! :)
Thanks. Looking forward to a big 2019!
