Ron Howard named new director of Han Solo movie.
As much of a fan of the original series as I am, I have little to no interest in this movie, I don't know why... Very interested in "The Last Jedi" but this one does not spark my interest at all. News of Lord and Miller being replaced by Ron Howard as director when the majority of the film was completed is not a very good sign. Don't get me wrong Ron Howard is a good director, it just seems like a lot of turmoil behind the scenes. Who knows though maybe the film turns out great, you never know. I would rather see Disney explore other stories in the universe. Can you imagine a rated R bounty hunter movie with all the bounty hunters from Ep 5 in a blood bath? Directed by Quentin Tarantino? hahaha yeah, that would be fun.
Till then looking forward to Rian Johnson's "The Last Jedi"
Yeah I totally get you! I have also been really skeptic about a young Han Solo film especially with an actor that doesn´t really look so much like Harrison Ford. When I first heard about the project starting up I heard some rumours about Anthony Ingruber was going to play Han Solo so I got a little exited about the project because it would be great with him. But then I lost interest again when I heard it wouldn´t be him. But hey I hope I am wrong and it turns out to be a great movie after all.
Yeah it could be really awesome with Quentin doing some Star Wars R rated stuff. And I am kind of hoping for a Obi wan kenobi film maybe with Ewan Mcgregor.
