The Goldfinch (2019) - Movie Trailer
Who doesn’t like good drama film directed and written by awesome filmmakers as Crowley and Straughan are with awesome actors in it. The trailer looks very good and you can feel the tension just watching it. And to spice it up more, the story is based on a novel by Pulitzer winner Donna Tartt! What can we expect from the movie when it comes out?
Storyline is very good described in YT, so I will just drop it here:
Theodore “Theo” Decker was 13 years old when his mother was killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The tragedy changes the course of his life, sending him on a stirring odyssey of grief and guilt, reinvention and redemption, and even love. Through it all, he holds on to one tangible piece of hope from that terrible day...a painting of a tiny bird chained to its perch...

Director of the movie is often prized at International Film Festivals, John Crowley known for films like InterMission (2003), Brooklyn (2015) or Boy A (2007). The screenplay is written by Oscar nominee Peter Straughan known for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) or Frank (2014).
The film stars Oakes Fegley (Pete's Dragon (2016), This Is Where I Leave You (2014), Wonderstruck (2017)), Aneurin Barnard (Dunkirk (2017), Cilla (2014)), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things (2016-2019), It (2017)), Sarah Paulson (The Post (2017), 12 Years a Slave (2013)), Luke Wilson (The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Old School (2003)), Jeffrey Wright (The Hunger Games franchise). And that's not all, we have Ashleigh Cummings (Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries (2012-2015), Hounds of Love (2016)), Willa Fitzgerald (Little Women (2017), Blood Money (2017)) and Oscar Award Winner Nicole Kidman.
