Escape from Pretoria (2020) – Movie Trailer

Harry Potter is trying to escape from the high-security prison in South Africa? No, just joking… It’ interesting how sometimes we connect too many actors with the personalities in their movies and it is super-difficult for them to act in other movie genres… Daniel Radcliffe had a main role in Harry Potter saga, but after such a giant role, he succeeds somehow to move along to other movies. The movie Escape from Pretoria is his newest one which will be premiered in March next year.

Movie is based on a true story about two white South Africans, imprisoned because they were working for African National Congress and their struggle to escape from the famous Pretoria Prison, which was one of the most secured, and most famous prisons where political enemies were held...

The director of the movie is Francis Annan, known for short movies as The Longest Drive (2014) and Going Up (2012), but he has directed not so famous, but controversial movie Woyzeck from 2010. The screenplay is written by Francis Annan and L.H. Adams, by the book of Tim Jenkin. Story development is done by Karol Griffiths.

In the main roles are Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter movies, Victor Frankenstein (2015), Swiss Army Man (2016)), Ian Hart (Backbeat (1994), Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001), Enemy of the State (1998)), Daniel Webber (TV Series The Punisher (2017), The Dirt (2019), 11.22.63 (2016)), Nathan Page (Sleeping Beauty (2011), TV Series Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (2012-2015), Panic at Rock Island (2011)), Mark Leonard Winter (The Dressmaker (2015), TV Series Cop Hard (2011), Top of the Lake (2017)) and others.
