Long ago, legions of monstrous creatures called Kaiju arise from the sea, bringing with them all-consuming war. And then humans developed giant robots called Jaegers, that designed to be piloted by two humans locked together in a neural bridge, Jaegers built to war against the monstrous Kaiju (giant creatures).

Rebellious pilot Jake Pentecost and his estranged sister must lead a brave new generation of fighters against otherworldly monsters that want to destroy humanity.

Actor John Boyega (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) leads an international cast for the film, as the rebellious Jake Pentecost who has abandoned his training only to became caught up in a criminal underworld. But when an even unstoppable threat is coming to destroy his cities and made the world to its knees, he is given one last chance to live up to his father's legacy.

Which will also introduce a new group of Jaegers, three of them rumored appear to be upgraded versions of the main trio of Jaegers from the first Pacific Rim (2013). Those are "Gypsy Danger" rumored to take the name "Gypsy Avenger" in his upgraded form, Cherno alpha and Crimson Typhoon.  Along with offering a thrilling look at the new Jaegers and his pilots the trailer also shows some threats they face this time as well as one of the new, monstrous kaiju making its debut in this movie, but the monsters won’t be the only thing endangering the world. 

Pacific Rim Uprising will hits theaters on March 23, 2018. And directed by Steven S. DeKnight (Marvel’s Daredevil series) and the latest update from debuted during Tokyo Comic-Con, let's see below.
