42 (2013): Timestamp Commentary (DVR)

I was hoping to find a clip from WB's YouTube Channel. No joy. So...I went with choosing one of the TV spots instead.
My history on doing Timestamp Commentary dates back to Season 5 of Homeland. The reception to the idea had positives and negatives. I stuck with it for a couple of episodes, then moved to Tumblr (the home of 'the fan'). While on Tumblr I held off sharing my whole commentary, and just left it for readers who initially enjoyed reading my posts and requested it directly.

16:39 - The catcher taunts Jackie to steal home - brilliant! I did not known it was possible!! Nice cut, running into the catcher and getting the result fading into the next scene.
? - Scene when Jackie strongly asks the person at the check-in to put them on the plane - it's interesting to hear that Pasadena is more progressive than Brooklyn.
37:40 - Branch tells Clay pointedly that he has to manage Jackie Robinson fairly or he's out of a job - I just realised that the owner is Harrison Ford (I haven't looked at the cast prior to watching the film)! Looks like that is the way. The higher ups should be the one saying that 'this' has to happen...and the rest of the members of that organisation would follow suit.
1:09:09 - Signing of the Dodgers protest - hey! Mr. FNL! Billy! Your in 42! So glad you could develop your acting chops more!
? - Jackie Getting a call to let him know of a signing of the contract - Just when you think they'll turn it into 'Where's Jackie --- because he was barely awake and did not register the call'..they don't ---- they just turn it into a second of a nicely done punchline and move on.
? - when. Mr. Ricky says Judas Priest ---- so it was actually a swear word!?
1:36:38 - Jackie looking out into the field during the last few words of the Star Spangled Banner - Oh this makes me want to buy a Brooklyn Dodgers Cap, Marshall University Cap, and East Dillon Lions Cap.
Yeah...I know...I forgot to rewind and find the specific (or approximate!) time stamps. :(
Mental note for next time: review commentary before saving!
Note: For parents. I'd recommend you to watch this yourself first (yep, the whole thing!), before deciding if you would like to show it to your kids. Better that...than jumping into it with them straight away and regretting it.
