The Perfectionist
The Goddess of Creation sat and pondered,
turning and twisting her latest creation in her delicate fingertips.
Her beautiful design - the atoms and quarks all singing in perfect harmony against the Void.
"Nope, not quite right. Not quite perfect."
She set aside the universe among the others.
She started anew.

I read this last night, but waited until now to comment, because this is so amazingly deep. I love the sense of cosmic humor that it conjures, the end being almost the punchline to an existential joke. However there is also a great sense of beauty to it that is very moving. Now, I'm over 50 words, so to do justice to your work I will remain in quietude. :D

Glad you enjoyed. I enjoy existential jokes. Ultimately, I think I was channeling the Eddie Izzard skit about the Shiva :)
