Sweet Confessions
Staring intensely at the mirror in disbelief, Candis asked her husband, “When did it happen John?”
“What sweetheart?”
“When did the gray hair, sagging neck and wrinkles appear?”
“I only see the beautiful gorgeous model I married 50 years ago," John insisted and then mumbled under his breath, “God forgive me.”

This day is coming for all of us... except me, I'm exceptional youthful... ha ha, just messing :o) It does happen us all though, people should age with dignity though... The cosmetic surgery and hair dye are not my cup of tea.. Be yourself grey hairs and all..
I used to love gray hair as a child and always wanted to have it. Now that I have some, I want it to grow out slower. Thanks for reading @ablaze.
Yes, I know what you mean alright, it can certainly make you look older, but so what... We have become so obsessed with physical appearance as a society, and have lost focus on the more important things in life...
Aren't we all guilty of that sin? Or is it? Should we consider that lying?

So many issues that come with old age. Acceptance being one of them. Do we forgive ourselves for aging? Do we forgive God for punishing us with it?

@jayna, while beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, it does come a time when physical appearances change and are noticeable. I actually am experiencing what my fictional character is observing. I need a “John” around to tell me that I still look like a model even if it’s not true...LOL.
