Dare to Live: A 50 Word Short Story
“Oh Lord, let it last forever,” Josephine thought as Monte tossed her into the air.
She landed with his face gently pressed against hers.
Their enchanted bodies were entangled in a musical rhythm.
Overwhelmed by the danger of feeling alive again,
Monte protected the remaining shattered pieces of his heart.
