Announcement of The winners of the 50 word Story Contest Week #9..MASS.. 1000 Trail Coins and 20 Steem Won
The Ninth week of the fifty word story contest has come to an end, the beginning of The Inkpot Interview series also brought an added attention to the trail, we had visits from older steemians who came to read the interview with @dreemit.
The fifty word story contest is here to reward those who are able to tell a fascinating story in fifty words, the contest is also a way to encourage new steemians on the platform. The growth of steemit depends on their presence,this is what led to commuinty building projects like @curie and this contest.
This contest is open to only Steemians with reputation 55 and lower.

Two Gatherings
There were two gatherings near my house.
On one side, people were all dressed colorfully and on the other everyone wore black.
The only difference was that on one side people were dancing and cheering and on the other they were mourning.
One was a wedding other was a funeral!
Second Place: @awriter>> 200 Trail coins and 6 Steem won
She was Asian and weighed 10 000 pounds.
I watched her lift the mounds.
She lifted every log and overturned it to the ground.
Her precision and strength was renowned.
“Kajol!” called out her guide,
She was very much obliged.
Splashed into the water and was energized,
Civilized and satisfied.

We came into being together, tightly curled, blind, and mewling. Mother's tongue pulled rough against the remnants of birth glazing our newborn pelts--twin shining corporeal candles in a primordial Mass!
Our tiny bodies squirmed towards the beacon of Mother's teats. Her deep purr drew us to the heady milk.
