"Stay with me" she pleaded, holding my hands. Her blue eyes shimmering with hope and sadness. " You don't have to go"
I glanced behind me. The ship was loaded and ready to leave. This was my one chance. The day i dreamt of since i was shipwrecked on this island. Two years ago.
I turned to look at her again. How could such a dream come true occur at such a bad time? This epitome of beauty had been there for me, nursed me to health and shown me love like non other. And I was about to leave just like that? I was stuck in the middle as her blue eyes seemed hypnotising. Here i was, being drawn away from the deep blue sea where the ship waited to another twin pools of love that were her eyes. Those eyes that have made me love the colour blue.
Hi @frankie-nero, I’m sorry it has taken me a while to get to all the stories submitted this week as I was traveling. I’m finally catching up.
I have a few important notes for you. One is that this is a 50-word challenge. The goal is to limit your story length to 50 words. This one is quite long — 149 words. So it’s not really in the spirit of the challenge.
The second thing is that there are some important rules about use of images in the prompt post. Please review them. There are also some great resources for Creative Commons images. Taking pictures from other people’s content (even Pinterest) isn’t okay because you don’t own them. Thanks.
