50 word Story Contest Week #17 - DARKNESS INVISIBLE

Darkness Invisible

They blindfolded her, duct taped he mouth and hands behind her back, dragged her in to the van, and drove away. Thoughts going through hear mind, trying to make sense of the situation, rest of the body paralyzed under shock. Mind confused to panic or not, lack of information in the darkness of thoughts, only information going through was that smell. What was that smell? If was unlike anything she have smelled before, so nauseating, yet the only clue. At that moment she felt, or rather didn’t feel a shoe; she was missing a shoe. That seemed to be a hope, wondering if somebody would find the shoe and maybe get to her in time. There seemed to be light coming through a tiny hole in the vastness of darkness. With the appearance of hope and light kept growing within the darkness, yet it still was so invisible.
