It was harvest time, as the fields gave thanks fruitfully.

There was much work to do, but Seamus and John stopped at the fence for the morning chat.

"Fine day be god"

"Ah, tis to be sure John"

The weather, cattle, wives were discussed and they went their separate ways.

This is my very late entry into @jayna's #fiftywords contest.

@ablaze I want to know where are you from and which crop are you going to harvest.

Hi there, I'm from Ireland @annusingh98

This was a little micro fiction story, so the characters could be harvesting anything at all, you can decide :o)

Take your own meaning from it. Although they are in Ireland, so it is likely hay, silage, turf, Rapeseed, Wheat, barley, Oat or the like...

This is lovely, @ablaze. A beautiful, quite moment on a country morning.

Thanks a mil, glad to see you have your account back up and running again :o)
